—
Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton outdueld Bryson DeChambeau and Paul Casey on the second playoff hole to win the LIV Golf Michigan Team Championship for Legion XIII.
Their teammates, Caleb Surratt and Tom McKibbin, cheered them on after the team tied Crushers GC following 18 holes of stroke play Sunday, Aug. 24, at The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth Township.
Hatton’s clutch birdie on No. 18 in regulation tied the score at a combined 20 under par, and both Rahm and DeChambeau birdied No. 18 to force extra holes after spiny wedge shots after nearly driving the green on the short par-4.
