SincetheFedExCupbeganin2007,thebonuspoolattheendoftheTourChampionshipwasunofficialmoney,withpartofitdeferred.
PrizemoneywaseliminatedattheTourChampionshipwhenthepostseasonwasreducedfromfourtothreetournamentsin2019,andtheFedExCupbonuspoolincreased.
Withtheintroductionthatyearof“startingstrokes”–theNo.1seedstartedat10-underparandhadatwo-shotleadovertheNo.2seed–whoeverwonthefinaleatEastLakewontheFedExCupandwascreditedwithaPGATourtitleforwinningtheTourChampionship.
