TheMarylandnativeandlong-timeFirstCoastresidentdidn’tbecomeafull-timePGATourplayeruntil1989whenhewas33yearsold.Hewasacareerclubprofessionalandthemen’sgolfcoachattheUniversityofMarylandandspentyearstryingtogetontotheTourthroughthequalifyingprocess.
