OnMonday,thePGATourPolicyBoardapproved“competitivechangessupportedbythePlayerAdvisoryCouncilthatwilldeliverastrongerandmorecompetitiveandentertainingPGATourtofans,players,tournamentsandpartners,”accordingtothePGATour.
ThechangesincludefieldsizeadjustmentstoaccountforeventswithlimiteddaylightandminorchangestotheFedExCuppointsstructure.Eligibilityandfieldsizechangeswilltakeeffectforthe2026season,whileadjustmentstotheFedExCuppointssystemwillbeimplementedbeginningin2025.
