ThesevenweeksoftheWestCoastswingwillonceagainbeginwithtwoweeksinHawaii,theSentryandtheSonyOpen.TheSentry,formerlytheTournamentofChampions,isoneoftheeightsignatureeventsonthetour,includingthreeontheWestCoast.TheideaofthreesignatureeventswithinsevenweeksisonereasonmanyofthetopplayersinthegamehavestartedplayingmoregolfontheWestCoastswing.ThereareFedExCuppointstobehad,afterall,pointsthatcanassureaplayeraspotintheFedExCupplayoffs.
